Julie Valentine Center Luncheon

Julie Valentine Center's mission is to stop sexual violence and child abuse and the impact of these crimes through prevention, investigation, collaboration, treatment, and advocacy. Your support helps ensure Julie Valentine Center is able to continue to provide free, confidential services to sexual assault and child abuse survivors in our community. This year’s Julie Valentine Luncheon will feature speaker Jessie Krebs. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, Jessie has turned her pain into her power and her profession. She represents the hope, empowerment, strength, and courage that we wish for all victims and survivors of child abuse and sexual assault.

Jessie Krebs is a former USAF S.E.R.E. Specialist (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape). Jessie Krebs has felt a strong connection with nature places since her childhood. After the military, she pursued a BA in educational psychology, directed team-building courses, and worked in wilderness therapy for over a decade. A survivor of childhood sexual abuse and abandonment, Jessie now runs a school teaching global survival skills and finds the outdoors to be healing, even empowering, and enjoys encouraging others to explore it safely and with confidence. If you are interested in attending, FG has a limited number of free spots at a table we're hosting--first come first served.
