Life in Community

Authentic Biblical community can happen in various contexts, from inside the church to outside, in schools, neighborhoods, and workplaces. Here are a few ways we see people finding this type of community inside our church.

FOR ADULTS

Our Community Groups provide opportunities for people to come together regularly for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer in someone’s home. Groups typically include 10-12 adults of varying ages and stages of life. From early 20s to 60s and older, we invite everyone to get plugged into community because we believe life is better connected.

FOR KIDS AND STUDENTS

All students have the opportunity to find that same Biblical community with leaders who reflect Jesus, foster connections, and encourage growth among the group. Elementary and middle school students meet in small groups after their large group worship and teaching on Sunday mornings. High school students meet together on Sunday evenings, then as small groups on campus, in homes, or coffee shops across the Upstate all throughout the week.

THROUGH CARING FOR ONE ANOTHER

Another way we help each other grow in community is by sharing and bearing one another's burdens. Our care ministries offer hope, encouragement, and practical support to those in various difficult situations.

THROUGH SERVING TOGETHER

It is in serving others that we grow to depend on God, learn how he made us, and find the place he has for us to contribute to the work of his body. Hundreds of people serve inside the walls of Fellowship Greenville each week. We have areas of ministry where you, too, can plug into service while also experiencing authentic community as you serve as individuals, couples, or by gathering a few friends to help out regularly. Click here to get started.
